We work with most major insurance plans and will check your coverage before your visit. If you would rather not wait on insurance, self-pay sleeve gastrectomy starts at $6,999, including the surgeon, anesthesia and surgery center fees. Cherry and CareCredit financing are available.

Your first consultation with Dr. Wadiwala is free, either at our Spring office or by video visit, so you can find out whether surgery is right for you before you make the drive. Our dietitian provides nutrition guidance in English and Spanish.

Which procedure is right for me?
It depends on your weight, your health conditions and your goals. Dr. Wadiwala will go over the gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, gastric balloon and medical weight loss with you at your consultation.
Do I qualify if my BMI is under 35?
Possibly. Insurance usually requires a BMI of 35 or higher, but with self-pay a sleeve gastrectomy may be possible with a BMI as low as 30.
